From welcoming audiences at the door to helping behind the scenes, volunteers play an important role in making our work possible. Meet great people, learn new skills or put the ones you already have to work, and help keep professional theatre thriving right here in the Motherlode.

Usher:

Want to help fellow theatregoers and enjoy the show on us?

Our ushers help welcome patrons, scan tickets, assist with seating, and answer basic questions before the performance begins. Once your duties are complete, you’re invited to stay and enjoy the show for free.

Other Ways to Help:

• Production Support – Help with set building, painting, and strike (taking the set down after the final performance).

• Read & Review Scripts – Assist in the selection process during our Quill to Act New Play Festival.

• Support Fundraising - Help with special events, donor outreach, and creative efforts that keep our programs thriving.
